Description
When I was a teenager my Grandpa told me all about how much he used to want an Argus C3 when he was in the service. At the time the C3 was about $50 brand new. Of course $50 at the end of the Korean war was worth a lot more than it is now. This camera is a timeless American classic. To me, the Argus C3 was my gateway drug to a world of photography I didn’t know existed.
This particular example is in rough shape. It has peeling leatherette and the focus is very stiff. This camera could perhaps be fixed up or used as a display piece.
